About Munnar

Munnar is a town and hill station, nestled in the Idukki district of Kerala, a state in South-western region in India, in the Western Ghats range of mountains. It is located at about 1,600 meters (5,200 ft) above sea level. Munnar means a convergence of three rivers: Mudhirapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundaly. This hill station was the former summer resort of the British Government in South India.
